HERMON – Jeanette M. Gagnon, age 76, formerly of Hermon, passed away on April 20, 2017 at the Maplewood Health Care in Canton. Calling hours will be held at French Funeral Home in Edwards on Wednesday, April 26, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. with her funeral service following at 12:00 p.m. with Rev. Frances Hemstreet officiating. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery, Edwards. Jeanette was born on June 20, 1940 in Russell to the late Frederick R. and Alice Minnie (Brayton) Halladay. She attended the North Russell School and Knox Memorial High School. Marriages to Milton Goodale and Joseph Gagnon ended in divorce. Mrs. Gagnon has loved horses and wolves and enjoyed time spent with her family. She is survived by four daughters, Annette Marie Goodale, Melody Rose and Joe Giunta, Charlene Kay and Alan Jackson, Leisha Roseann and Benjamin Murcray; and a sister, Edith Cooper. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Jeanette is predeceased by her son, Scott Gagnon who died at birth; a brother, Alvin Halladay; and sisters, Helena Perry, Dorothy Sharlow, and Lula Fifield.
