Obituary of Cody J. Tennant

FINE- Cody J. Tennant, age 21, of Ogdensburg, but formerly of Fine, NY, passed away on September 24, 2013 at Fletcher-Allen Hospital in Burlington, VT.
There will be a graveside service on Tuesday, October 8, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Woodland Cemetery in Fine, NY with Deacon Philip Giardino officiating. Arrangements are with French Family Funeral Home, Star Lake.
Cody was born on May 11, 1992 in Gouverneur, NY to the late Gerald W. and Linda K. (Putman) Tennant. He attended Clifton-Fine Central School. He lived in Fine most of his life, but had recently moved to Ogdensburg this year.
Cody enjoyed fishing, watching movies, gardening, playing video games and he really enjoyed sports, especially basketball.
He is survived by his sister, Jacqueline Tennant of Star Lake; two brothers, Kelvin Tennant of Gouverneur and John Schwartsz Jr. of Lowman, NY; his maternal grandmother, Betty (Knapp) Putman of Painted Post, NY; and his nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Cody is predeceased by his parents, Gerald W. and Linda K. Tennant, his paternal grandparents, George Tennant and Doris (Slate) Ward and his maternal grandfather, Hugh Putman.
