Obituary of Randy L. House

FOWLER – Randy L. House, age 63, of Fowler, passed away at home on October 27, 2023. In keeping with his wishes, there will be no funeral service. Arrangements are with French Funeral Home in Gouverneur. Condolences may be shared online at www.frenchfuneralhomes.com. Randy was born on April 5, 1960 in Gouverneur to Floyd E. House, Sr. and the late Keitha Dashnaw. He attended the Gouverneur Central School and worked at several local businesses right from a teenager, up until his retirement from Kinney Drugs Warehouse after over 21 years of service there. He married Dolores Royce on February 9, 1980 at the Gouverneur United Methodist Church officiated by Rev. Stanley Brown. Randy loved animals, including his many pets and the wildlife that he fed. He was a collector of all sorts of things and enjoyed wheeling and dealing. He was a hard worker who never seemed to sit still, was quite the jokester, and loved listening to classic rock music. Randy is survived by his wife, Dolores, his father and stepmother, Floyd House, Sr. and Darla Jean Dashnaw, his siblings, Timothy House, Robert House, Brian House, Floyd House, Jr, Brenda House and her companion, Roger Ingram, Kathy and Matthew Brown, Bonnie and Joe Mendez, Anna Vallieres and her companion, Jeff Fuller, and Melissa Royce and her companion, Adam Dean, and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his mother and two brothers, Michael and Joseph House.
