Obituary of Helena M. Klock

FINE- Helena M. "Nene" Klock, age 76, of Fine, NY passed away on Friday, April 5, 2024 at her home. There will be calling hours for Nene on Thursday, April 11, 2024 from 1:00-2:30 p.m. at French Funeral Home in Edwards. Her funeral service will immediately follow at 2:30 p.m. at the funeral home with Father Jay Seymour officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Edwards. Condolences may be shared online at www.frenchfuneralhomes.com. Helena was born on January 4, 1948 in Gouverneur, NY to the late Donald and Edith (David) St. Louis. She graduated from Gouverneur Central School and then went to Community College. She later earned her Bachelor's Degree from SUNY Empire State. Whether employed at St. Lawrence Department of Social Services or as a Social Worker at the military base, Fort Drum, she made a 35 year career helping others. Nene married Gary A. "Ticker" Klock on August 11, 1990. Ticker passed away on May 8, 2023 She enjoyed camping, traveling, going to NASCAR races and going to the casino. Although she and Ticker never had children, she was a very special presence in the lives of all 29 nieces and nephews. Her favorite times were having family over for a "Family Do." Nene is survived by her sister, Alberta St. Louis Hartmann and two cats, Milo and Queenie. Nene is predeceased by three brothers, Donald "Beau", David "Todd" and Kenneth St. Louis and a sister, Anne St. Louis-Morley. She was also predeceased by two nephews, Brian St. Louis and Mark Aaron Morley.
