Julia Mae (MacCrimman) Burnett age 79, of Tupper Lake, NY passed away on Monday, July 8, 2024, at the Adirondack Medical Center in Saranac Lake, NY.

Julia was born April 26, 1945, in Newton Falls, NY to Albert N. and Bernice M. (Hiscock) MacCrimman. She attended Clifton-Fine Central School and worked hard to receive her diploma later in life. Her first marriage was to Alfred "Pecore, Iceman" Bradley who she had three children with. Her second marriage was to Robert Burnett who she had 1 child and a bonus child (stepdaughter) with. Both eventually ended in separation after a lifetime of being together.
Julia's employment career included Drapers, Tupper Lake Veneer, Home Health Aide, McDonald's, Grand Parent Aide at L.P. Quinn, and a Senior Companion for Sunmount. Hard work, love and compassion were solidly displayed in anything she pursued in life. She enjoyed volunteering as a Den Leader for the Boy Scouts, as a member in the Red Hat Society to support our American Troops and at the voting booths during election time. Her patriotism was always proudly displayed.
Julia was an active community member and believed "It takes a village to raise a child." She was known as "one of the second street Moms ("If you know, you know.") Her hobbies to list a few were going to bingo, crocheting, knitting, sewing, board & card games, computers and camping. She loved to socialize and make others laugh. Her comic relief helped many through stressful times. She believed humor was the best medicine and passed this down to her children. She loved spending time with her Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, and all the fur babies. She loved them all unconditionally.
Julia is predeceased by her Mother, Father, daughter Jesse Burnett at birth and 3 older brothers Ike, Art and Red MacCrimman. She is survived by her older brother William "Bill" MacCrimman, sister Bernice & Brother-in-law David Stamper, son Michael Bradley of West Virginia, son Harold Bradley and Partner Gina Bujold of Tupper Lake, daughter Jennifer Bradley and partner Stacey Button of Tupper Lake, daughter Judy (Burnett) Vaillancourt and partner Alicia Pace of South Carolina, daughter Bobbie-Jo Burnett-White and partner Allan Ottley of Tupper Lake, NY, 13 Grandchildren, 2 Great Grandchildren, as well as several nieces, nephews and in-laws.
