We are so thankful that we got to spend time with Mack this past summer. He was kind enough to take us for a boat ride around the lake. That's how we will remember him....at his beloved Chub Lake.

Mack was one of my closest cousins he taught me how to plow, disc, still hunt for deer, fix things, and shared his love of Jesus and his beliefs. He always shared his opinion freely and was a combination of Evil Knieval and MacGyver. I remember riding in a VW but back to the farm from the lake and he was going too fast (as usual for Mack) and mud came up and got Melissa in the face and we hit a small tree and the back fender fell off. We had to quickly put the fender back on before Uncle Max came and saw what he had done. I think we were going to get the oars for the row boat and it was an Orford reunion picnic at Chub Lake. He would always help others before himself and had the biggest smile when taking others for a ride on pontoon boat on Chub Lake. Same smile Uncle Max had when he took us for a ride. He was a very special cousin to me and was always there for me. Helped me butcher my deer when I had no place to take it. He could make ice balls out of snow and had the perfect aim to hit me in the head. Melissa and I were no match against him in a snowball fight. He and I didn't always share the same opinion but we respected each other and didn't judge each other. He was a hard worker and supported his family. I will never forget hunting with Mack and all the good times at TessAcres farm. He will live on in our memories until we meet him in heaven. Love to Aunt Viv, my cousins, Jackie and all his kids. Please help your grandma out now that Mack can't help her. She is a very special Aunt! Love Stan Orford II and Christopher Santo
