STOCKHOLM - Christopher Brian Charlton, age 32, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, January 27, 2014 at the Canton-Potsdam Hospital.
Calling hours will be at French Funeral Home, Edwards on Saturday, February 1, 2014 from 12:00 until 2:00 p.m. immediately followed by his funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Condolences may be made online at www.frenchfuneralhomes.com.
Chris was born on January 12, 1982 in Ogdensburg to Tina R. (Gladle) Charlton Scott of Hermon and the late Lawrence Charlton, Sr. In addition to his mother and her companion, John Carlin, Jr. of Hermon, he is survived by three brothers, Lawrence Charlton, Jr. of Franklin, NC, Elliot Charlton of Franklin, NC, Michael Charlton of Massena; and his daughter, Kaithlyn Jean Charlton of Florida. He is also survived by his aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Chris was a happy child most of the time. He liked watching movies, playing video games and hanging out with his friends. Chris also enjoyed camping and fishing.
He was predeceased by his father, Lawrence Charlton, Sr., and grandparents, Gaylord C. and Gertrude F. Gladle, and Hersal and Marjorie Charlton.
