OSWEGATCHIE - Sharon Ann MacCrimman, age 70, of Oswegatchie, passed away on Monday, April 7, 2014 at her home under the care of her loving family.
There will be a graveside service on Friday, May 2, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in the Oswegatchie Cemetery. Arrangements are with French Family Funeral Home, Star Lake.
Sharon was born on February 28, 1944 in Newton Falls to the late Ernest Trembley, Sr. and Goldie (Rice) Trembley. She grew up in Newton Falls and attended the Clifton-Fine Central School.
Sharon married Norman "Red" MacCrimman on November 3, 1962 at the First Baptist Church of Oswegatchie officiated by the Rev. John Blackman. The couple have lived in Oswegatchie all of their marriage. Sharon enjoyed camping with her family, shopping, and collecting wildlife themed items as well as Coca-Cola memorabilia.
Her survivors include her husband of 51 years, Red; her son, Timothy N. MacCrimman of Tupper Lake; her daughter and son-in-law, Pandora L. and Bert Demmon of Fine; two brothers and their wives, Ernest Trembley, Jr. and Jean of Indiana, Charles Trembley, Sr. and Pat of Newton Falls; and two sisters, Faye Ploof of Virginia and Sandra and Gary Gish of Star Lake. She is also survived by two step-grandchildren, Bert "Chum" Demmon, Jr., Craig Demmon and several nieces and nephews.
Sharon is predeceased by a sister, Janice Howard and her grandson, Andrew MacCrimman.
