Obituary of Lynn E. Provost

STAR LAKE - Lynn E. Provost, age 62, of 4365 Route 3, passed away on Sunday, May 11, 2014 suddenly at her home. Born on December 1, 1951 in Rochester, NY, she was the daughter of Harold and Barbara (Morgan) Akey. She attended the Clifton-Fine Central School. Lynn married Raymond (Wob) Provost on March 16, 1972. Raymond passed away on April 9, 2008. Lynn enjoyed reading and spending time with her grandchildren. Surviving are her mother, Barbara Akey of Newton Falls; three children; two daughters, Crystal and Dustin Brooks of Morristown, Candy and James Johnson of Ohio; her son, Brad and Gabrielle Provost of Virginia; her step-son, Raymond Provost, Jr. of Canton; a sister, Pat and Robert Provost of Oswegatchie; and two brothers, Tommy and Susan Akey of Vermont and Scott Akey of Newton Falls. She is also survived by six grandchildren, Quinten and his wife, Alicia, Nya, Evan, Coltyn, Gavin, and Kailey. Lynn is predeceased by her husband, Raymond (Wob) Provost; her father, Harold Akey; a grandson, Peyton Johnson; and her brother, Kevin Akey. Her service will be on Saturday, May 17, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Hubert Catholic Church in Star Lake. A reception will follow at the St. Hubert fellowship hall.
