SARANAC LAKE – Cathy Lorraine Harris, age 58, of Saranac Lake, passed away on Monday, March 30, 2015 at the Adirondack Medical Center.
Burial will be at a later date in the Riverside Cemetery in Ellenburg Center. Arrangements are with French Funeral Home, Gouverneur.
Cathy was born on March 8, 1957 in Malone to the late Martin S. and Mary M. (Whalen) Harris. She attended the Northern Adirondack School in Ellenburg, NY. Cathy grew up in Ellenburg, lived in Ogdensburg for a short time and most recently was living in Saranac Lake.
Cathy enjoyed working on crafts, singing, socializing and having lunch with her companion Hugh Vanderbeek.
Her survivors include her companion, Hugh Vanderbeek of Saranac Lake; her brother and his wife, Daniel and Karen Harris of Ogdensburg; and a special uncle, Michael Whalen of Ellenburg.
