Our deepest sympathies to you all. I cannot think of a time when I would hear Junior's name without having a smile. In 1993 Oliver and I drove through Gouverneur on our way to Madrid. Knowing that Junior and Janet had recently built a new home, we decided to see if we could find them. This was before the age or cell phones and the Internet and so we did the next best thing and stopped at a local florist. As we were explaining the situation a customer overheard our conversation and they spoke up, telling us they lived just up the road from the new house. They volunteered to lead us there, a drive of several miles out of their way. We never did thank those neighbors, and when we surprised Janet and Junior we had a wonderful visit and some home baked banana bread and were back on the road. Thanks to those neighbors for giving us one more visit with Junior and Janet... We hope to see you all again...
