Our hearts go out to you and the family with the loss of your brother. We so enjoyed reconnecting at our class reunions and hearing of the adventures he had experienced through out the years. Gary was the first person who ever got me into a canoe @ Sylvia Lake and it became one of my favorite pastimes. I know he loved Bonnie Castle and loved the dance floor. We can see him now dancing with the angels. May he rest in peace and feel no more pain. God bless

Our deepest sympathy to Linda and the Jones family. I fondly remember visiting Sylvia Lake and think of Gary as a gentle and kind man who always had a big smile and a hearty greeting. I know that his presence will be missed by many there. Take care.

Judy, I am so very sorry for your loss, and my thoughts and prayers are with you in this time of loss. I have so many wonderful memories of growing up on Sylvia Lake, and prominent in those memories is the friendship you and I shared! Never before nor since have there been anything like the wonderful tea parties we used to share in the "play room" under the kitchen! Remember our mint tea? And of course many trips around the lake in your canoe, sometimes bringing back water lillies from the other side of the lake. Then there was all the swimming we did, having a blast sitting on the edges of the big inner tubes from your Dad's store! Judy, so many precious memories of long ago, that I hold dear to my heart and have shared with my children and grandchildren. However, one could not spend summers at the lake without knowing your brother Gary too. His presence was larger than life, what with his "slapping" boat, that sometimes woke us up too early as he powered that boat past the front of our camp! No one who ever spent spent time on the lake was unaware of Gary He was one of a kind and he will be missed! I hope that you can take comfort in knowing that others care!

Dear Jones Family: Please accept my deepest sympathy for your loss. May you find comfort in the words written at John 5:28,29, where God promises to bring back to life those we have lost in death by means of a resurrection. In the future He willl also do away with our enemy, death.(1 Corintians 15:26) This gives us the wonderful hope of being reunited with our loved ones forever. Until then, I hope the memories of Gary and these promises fro God comfort you in the days to come.

My deepest sympathy for the passing of your dad. My husband, Paul and myself had many dealings with your dad at Jones Farm Supply. He was always very helpful, gracious and a very hard working man. I am sure his presence at the store and in Gouverneur will be truly missed.

Gary was such a familiar face at the lake. My mom would often bake chocolate chip cookies for him whenever he would help us with an appliance problem. Prayers and thoughts are with our wonderful neighbors on Sylvia.
