I am so sorry to fine out about this through other sources. I loved Robin very much, I hope his family is OK. I know there isn't to much I can say at this late date. I remember the many wonderful times we spent together at Christmas gatherings. They met a lot to me. I am sorry we never seemed to find the time to stay in touch. Hope to hear from you.

Dearest Amanda:
My heart aches for you. Your dad sounded like the best of men and a good father. I liked him immediately because you share so much of the spirit in his face.
Comfort and peace to you and your family.
Margaret

I send my sympathy to the family of Robin. I did not know Robin, but I knew his mother and father and some of their families. I knew Herb especially well as we worked together in the mines in 1955. I was deeply saddened at Herb's early death after I left Gouverneur .

Rookey Family - so sorry to hear about Robin. He was a special guy! He would always speak to me when I saw him in Gouverneur and he always had a smile. My sister, Gayle and Robin's sister Pam were good friends. He will be truly missed but I believe he's in a better place.
Pam, I hope you remember me. I'm Gayle's little sister, Denise that always wanted to hang out with the big girls. Again, sorry for your loss.
