GOUVERNEUR- Suzette M. Lane, age 67, of Harrisville, but formerly of Gouverneur passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at her home.
Suzette was born on October 26, 1948 in Gouverneur to the late Walter J. and Eileen M. (Bradley) Cassaw. She graduated from Gouverneur Central School and went on to Mater Dai College, where she received her Associated Degree. She married David Lane Sr., he passed away in 2009.
Suzette was a technician for the Center For Sight in Watertown for 10 years. She was previously a LPN at E.J. Noble Hospital in Gouverneur for about 20 years. She loved swimming, knitting and playing computer games.
Surviving is a son and daughter-in-law, David and Carrie Lane Jr. of Gouverneur; two daughters and a son-in-law, Tacy Tracey of Watertown and Alyssa and Hank Besaw of Harrisville; a sister, Jeanie Cassaw of Newton Falls and ten grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
In keeping with Suzette's wishes, there will be no calling hours or funeral service. Arrangements are with French Funeral Home, Gouverneur. Condolences may be shared online at www.frenchfuneralhomes.com.
