Obituary of Sharron R. Steele

STAR LAKE – Sharron R. Steele, age 70, passed away on Friday, August 5, 2016 at the Champlain Valley Pysicians Hospital. There will be a memorial service held on Sunday, September 11, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Star Lake Fire Department. Arrangements are with French Family Funeral Home in Star Lake. Condolences may be shared online at www.frenchfuneralhomes.com. Sharron was born on August 5, 1946 in Degrasse to the late Gaylord Paro, Sr. and Jane (Eells) Paro. She received her G.E.D. through Knox Memorial High School. Sharron was a fun loving, warm hearted, kind person who was well loved by everyone she met. She meant a lot to the staff and resident at the Mercy Living Center where she has lived for the past year. Sharron enjoyed working on puzzles, reading, playing cards and Bingo, and being involved in the Baking Club at Mercy. Her survivors include her four children, Candy Willis, Steven Paro, Anna Steele, and Miguel Garcia; brothers, Gaylord Paro, Jr., Charles Paro, Albert Paro; and sisters, Beatrice Peck, Pauline Riddell, and Cornelius Cole. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren with 1 more on the way, 4 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Sharron is predeceased by her parents; brothers, Kenneth and James Paro; and sisters, Thelma Denney and Leona Holland. Donations in memory of Sharron may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or to the Shriner's.
