GOUVERNEUR – Virginia Palmatier, age 80, died on November 2, 2016 at the Jefferson County Hospice Home. She was born October 17, 1936 in Plattsburgh, NY, the daughter of Harold Dean and Anna Hazel (Gilmore) Coolidge.
Her survivors include her two daughters and their husbands, Lori and Merritt Reynolds of Pulaski, Paige and Efton McCrea Jr. of Gouverneur; a son and daughter-in-law, Jason and Andrea Palmatier of Shrewsbury, MA; a daughter-in-law, JoAnne Palmatier of Chaumont; and her beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is also survived by a brother, Robert, in California, and a sister, Helen, in Vermont.
Virginia is predeceased by her husband of 43 years, Charlie, who passed away in 2002. She is predeceased by a son, Charles Palmatier; a brother, Bill, and three sisters, Margaret, Vesta, and Carol.
