Blen, April, Chandra, & Alan:
Please accept our most sincere sympathies on behalf of the entire Czerwinski Family. Our parents were wonderful neighbors and friends for many years. They shared many an evening socializing over a beer or two, along with Lil & Betty! And, young Alan always took care of my parent's snow plowing!
I certainly don't have to tell you that he was a very dedicated member of the New Hackensack Fire Company. He encouraged me to join and participate the fire company as soon as I was of age. The 10 years that I served along side of him were some of the best years of my life.
Obviously, your father was a great mentor to me as I continued to serve in the fire service to this day. I currently serve as the Fire Chief in Pittsfield, Massachusetts.
I am truly sorry that I missed the service in Poughkeepsie. My good friend and past fellow NKFD Member Mark Jensen advised me this morning of your Dad's passing.
Again, my condolences on his passing. It's a tough way to go through the holidays, but I hope all of you are doing well during this difficult time.
Robert Czerwinski
