Emily, Zach, Steve, Jayne, Shelley, and Josh, and families,
We are so sorry to hear of Janice's passing. She and the entire Hayden family are so special to us. Janice was so full of life - her laugh was both distinctive and contagious. Not the same as Bob's but equally as joyful and inspiring.
Summer vacations at Sylvia Lake will always have a special place in my heart. I remember Janice playing cards with that magnetic deck of cards down on the dock - wind proof - nothing should interrupt a good game of cards. She approached life full on - something we could all learn from.
She will be dearly missed.

We met the "Pinkle"program of Ellis Hospital School of Nursing. The next year we both attended E.H.S.of Nursing. After graduation I was supposed to go to Syracuse, but I met Tom. He was somewhat reluctant to go to Sylvia Lake--decided we would go for 1day-- and stayed for a week or was it 2? Then each summer he said, when are we going to Sylvia Lake? A tradition we sure enjoyed. I talked with Janice about two weeks before she died and she was still her 'happy go lucky' self. An enjoyable happy person and family.

So sorry to read of Jans passing, she fought a valiant and long battle. She was a long time friend, we graduated high school together, went to the Ellis Hospital School of Nursing summer program together and grew old together (her birthday was a week before mine and 8 days after Diane (Dier)) Frawley, we also kidded Diane about being the oldest. A life of memories shared and cherished...………
Thoughts and prayers to her family...

To all of Janice’s family her memory will be forever in my heart. She was a special friend to me and so many others. We started in grammar school and never lost contact . Our trip to Europe was a highlight of my younger years and we talked about it often.

It is very sad to hear about Jan. We became fast friends over our live of her dog, gunner. I worked in the pharmacy at Kinney drugs. Gunner would start barking at the end of the line of cars when he saw me in the window. Jan also defended my honor once out in the Kinney parking lot. She was a wonderful friend, I enjoyed talking to her very much.
