It is with a strong sense of sadness that I read of the death of my dear high school classmate, Barbara Daunt Hance. For several years I have tried to get in touch with her with a DeKalb Junction address being the most recent I had. My contacts never reached her and I was so sorry about that. Just know that I valued my friendship with Barbara as my Massena High School Class of 1947 friend. She was always so upbeat, friendly, and kind. There wasn't a bit of hesitation on her part to be your friend. My sincere condolences are extended to her family. I know her Class of 1947 friends will be touched by learning of her death as well. God bless you, Barbara, and may your family be uplifted by sweet and precious times you spent together as you grieve her loss.
