HARRISVILLE- Frances A. "Frankie" LayBoult, age 82, of Harrisville, NY passed away on Tuesday, March 5, 2024 at Carthage Area Hospital.
There will be calling hours for Frances on Wednesday, March 13, 2024 from 11:00-1:00 at French Funeral Home in Gouverneur. Her funeral service will immediately follow at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Condolences may be shared online at www.frenchfuneralhomes.com.
Frances was born on July 23, 1941 in Gouverneur, NY to the late Elmer and Mary (Coffee) Geer. She graduated from Harrisville Central School. She married George H. LayBoult Sr., he passed away on December 12, 2013.
Frances loved to play cards, listen to country music, dance, feed the birds and she loved being with her grandchildren. She also loved candles and flowers.
Surviving is a son, George LayBoult Jr.; a daughter, Tena and her husband Russell Wood; a son-in-law, Patrick Silsby; a brother, David Geer; a sister, Donna Sweet; five grandsons, Dustin, Nick, Jordan, James "Jimmer" and Will "Billy"; several great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Frances is predeceased by her husband, George; a daughter, Mary Ann Silsby; a son, Rick; two brothers, Alton and John and three sisters, Carri, Myrtle and Catherine.
