Obituary of Dalton Keith Fuller

HARRISVILLE – Dalton Keith Fuller, age 85, of Harrisville, passed away at home on May 25, 2024.

Keith was born on July 24, 1938 in Gouverneur to the late Dalton F. and Katheryn F. (Freeman) Fuller. He graduated from Edwards Central School and the Wanakena Ranger School. Keith served in the United States Army from 1961 – 1963.
Keith married Linda J. West on June 8, 1965 in the Edwards United Methodist Church. He had begun working for St. Regis paper when he was 16 and worked for Champion Paper as a forester for 45 years before retiring on August 31, 1999. Always a worker, Keith also bought logs to sell to the veneer mill in Heuvelton and owned and operated Star Wood Products, milling and kiln drying hardwood lumber. He enjoyed working with wood, golfing, and watching local and national racing, especially the Fuller family, wintering in Florida for the past 15 years.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Fuller, two children, Roger (Sue Pine) Fuller and Heather (Dale) Bresette, two grandchildren, Kaitlyn (Jerrod) Freeman and Cody Bresette, and four great-grandchildren, Dean, Violet, Taylor, and Lucas. He is also survived by siblings, Wayne (Diane Lamb) Fuller, Douglas Fuller, Donald (Mandy) Fuller, Dawn (Pat) Mullany, Annette (Wrightson) Toung, and Marjorie (Francis "Doc") Taylor, and many nieces and nephews.
Donations in Keith's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Harrisville Volunteer Resue and Fire Department.
