Terry was my little league short stop in the "60's. He was a topnotch player and citizen. His sister Anne was my recreation student assistant. I was friends with the parents and they invited me over for meals. I rented a summer apartment from the family. It was my pleasure to know Terry and the family.

I worked with Terry at East Side for a few years as the elementary counselor. I enjoyed working with him and remember him fondly. There was always music playing in the halls and one day when we were the only two people coming down the hall, he danced up to me as we passed. It was a great place to work and he was one of the reasons! I am so sorry for your loss.

Dear Sara, Amy and Beth & families, and Jim & Sharon,
We are so sorry for your loss. Terry had a wonderful impact on so many. I think about what fun we had at lunch time at East Side. Al and I are currently in Florida, returning my mom to her home for the winter and just learned of Terry's passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I met Terry approximately 52 years ago when we were fellow members of the freshman class at SUNY Plattsburgh. We instantly became friends, later, roommates and fraternity brothers. I saw in Terry a profound intelligence, a caring person, a gifted athlete and someone destined to be a great teacher. Although we saw each other too infrequently over the years, he has always remained my friend. When I married my college sweetheart, Carol, in 1968, Terry was my best man. Later that summer Carol and I spent our honeymoon with Terry and Sara at "The Lake."
We know that the last several years were tough ones for Terry and his family but hope that all are able to reflect on the reality that Terry had a profound and positive influence on the lives of so many people. He is loved because he gave so much of himself to his family, his friends and his many students. He will be missed.

One of my favorite teachers. We still have the newspaper article of our "Frog Jumping Contest." Always enjoyed visiting with him when we ran into each other. He will be missed. Our thoughts are with the family.

To Sara, Amy, Beth, Jim, Sharon, and other family members: I was saddened to hear of Terry's passing, but seeing this photo brought back many pleasant memories of Terry as a dedicated educator and as a friend. That familiar smile reminded me of his incessant sense of humor and wit. Thanks to Terry I got to spend several wonderful summers at Lake Bonaparte. RIP Terry! Warm thoughts to his family and friends, Bev

I had a horrible time in 7th grade! And Mr. Williamson, who wasn't even my teacher that semester, stayed after school to work with me several weeks to get me through that year. He was the kind of teacher, mentor friend any child could turn to in a time of crisis & he'd see you through it. He would not let you fail! If all the teachers today would be a "Mr. Williamson", these kids would be so much better off. You will surely be missed kind soul. Prayers of comfort to your family... in knowing he touched so many lives & they are better because of him.

Terry was a part of many of our childhoods. He was my 5th grade teacher. He had frog jumping contest in the spring and what fun that was. He also dressed up as a clown for Halloween every year. The little ones always loved it. In my grown up years he worked for us at WKL as an announcer for our sports. He will be missed. Terry is eternally peaceful now and can go on teaching in Heaven.

I got to know Terry when he moved to Kinney Nursing Home. Since we both had been teachers it was always enjoyable to chat with him. The visits from his family members not only brightened Terry's day but the other residents as well. God Bless each one of you.

Mr. Williamson was my 6th grade math teacher. He inspired me & I credit him for my love of math which lead to my engineering career. All these years later I still use "Williamson" as a password when asked for a favorite teacher. On Lake Bonaparte, I see his family's home and think of him fondly.
My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.
