May Francis's family and friends be comforted by God's promise to "swallow up death forever, and wipe away every tear from all faces." (Isaiah 25:8) Along with the promise that a time very soon, no resident will say "I am sick". (Isaiah 33:24) Remembering too the promise of the resurrection hope for both the unrighteous and righteous. (Acts 24:15)

Dear Aunt Margaret, Joanna & cousins, my heart is truly sad at the loss of my last living link to my momma & my blood Kolbe family. I still remember Uncle Francis, Uncle Bill and my daddy, Andrew Reverdy Wilson, trying to teach me how to play poker with their spare change around Aunt Catherine's huge dining room table many a Saturday/Sunday/July picnic. Uncle Francis was a tough man and I know he was tough on his family as well. He had that stubborn Kolbe attitude and I dare say he's giving St. Peter a hard time in heaven now. I can only imagine the atmosphere when all the Kolbe children are now reunited with Granny & Grandpa Kolbe. I love and miss you all, Brenda Lee Wilson

I am so very sorry for your loss. It has been a number of years since we've seen Mr. Kolbe, but I will never forget how hardworking and committed he was to farming. It was and is a fond memory working and helping out when we were able to on the farm behind CHS. Sending our deepest condolences, love and hugs to you all, esp Jim & Genie, Lucy & Danny. I've grown closest to them but, sympathize with you all.
Love the Gatton Family,
Steve, Chrissy, Alex & Jocelyn
